Confirmation Year 1 Requirements

Attendance--Must be attending Sunday liturgy and partaking of the sacraments.

High School RE (SYG/LIFETEEN)--Sessions are held Sunday evenings from 6:10-8pm. We gather at St. Michael Hall. Teens should not miss any more than 6 sessions to be considered active in year one preparation. Attendance is taken by teeens signing in at the table as they walk in. Please be sure that your teen knows to sign in.

Retreat--must attend scheduled retreat! This year there is one Year One retreat--Making a Difference. The retreat is mandatory and time should be saved immediately to guarantee participation. Work schedules, school activities, sports, and SATs, etc. can be adjusted with adequate notice. Start working now to clear your calendar for those dates. 

Interviews--All year one students must interview at the end of the first year, before entering their second year.

Confirmation Liturgy--The date and place of the celebration of the sacrament is determined by the Bishop. It is generally sometime in the Easter season. Year 1 students and families are responsible for the reception for the Year 2 students.
