Visiting the Sick and Homebound - Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Provide monthly visits and administer Holy Communion to parishioners who can no longer attend Mass due to health concerns.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are scheduled for monthly visits to senior living communities or senior living communities. Training and the opportunity to shadow an experienced minister is provided in advance.
Funeral Reception Ministry - Hope and Comfort to Grieving Families
Provide parish hospitality to bereaved families and friends experiencing the loss of a loved one at the reception following the funeral Mass.
This ministry recruits both hostesses and those willing to prepare and drop off food for the occasional post-funeral Mass reception. The coordinator calls in advance to see if you are able to assist.
Respite Ministry - Compassionate Support for Caregivers
Provide compassionate support for caregivers through occasional in-home respite care that allows caregivers with an opportunity to run errands, visit the doctor or attend Mass knowing that their loved one is being well cared for while they are away.
Respite companions with general availability on weekends or daytime hours is our current need. Training and the opportunity to shadow an experienced respite companion is provided in advance.
