As we begin the 2025-2026 choral season, we extend a heartfelt invitation to you to embrace the heart of Psalm 95 and "come before Him with a song of praise."

About Us: We are a close-knit ministry united by our shared passion for music and our love for our Catholic faith. We sing in service of the liturgy and seek to inspire our community to live the parish mission: "We find Christ here. We bring Christ to the world."

The Choir Experience:

  • Spiritual Fulfillment: By joining our choir, you're not just singing; you're contributing to the spiritual enrichment of our parish. Your voice becomes an instrument of praise, helping to humbly serve at the sacrifice of Holy Mass.

  • Community Bonding: Singing at choir rehearsals and praying at Mass provide a unique opportunity to forge deep connections with fellow parishioners who share your passion for music and faith.

  • Inclusivity: Our choir welcomes voices of all ranges and skill levels. Whether you're a trained vocalist or new to singing, there's a place for you in our choir family.

2025-2026 Season Highlights: This season promises an exciting lineup of hymns, choral classics, and contemporary pieces that resonate with the heart of our community. From Advent to Easter and everything in between, we'll be building harmonies that reflect the liturgical calendar and the significance of each season.

First Rehearsal: September 17, 2025 Mark your calendars! Our first rehearsal for the new season will take place on Wednesday, September 17th at 7:30 PM in the church. It's the perfect opportunity to meet fellow choir members and start this musical journey together.

How to Get Involved: To join the choir simply sign up on our Choir Registration Page. Our Music Coordinator, Johanna Smith, will reach out to you personally after that. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact her at jsmith@olmc.org or ext. 117.

In Conclusion: As Pope Leo said in a recent Sunday Angelus, “[Jesus] exhorts us not to keep to ourselves the gifts that God has given us, but rather to use them generously for the good of others, especially those most in need of our help. It is not simply a matter of sharing the material goods we have, but putting our skills, time, love, presence and compassion at the service of others."

Come join us in the sharing of musical skills for God's glory!
